Housing Assignment/Move-In Day Parking Pass
Housing assignments and move-in day parking passes are now available for students who completed their application on-time. Please read our first-year housing FAQ if you have questions about your assignment. If the FAQ does not address your concern, you may contact us. Please note that reassignment requests were due July 5th. Because many other University offices depend on assignment information from our office, we will not be accepting further reassignment requests. We will re-open the reassignment process in mid-September. Thank you for your cooperation!
If you submitted your application late, your assignment may still be pending. We will contact you if this is the case. If you still need to submit your application, please do so below. Housing assignments for late applicants will be available on this site on July 15, 2009.
Housing Application
The first-year housing application was due on Friday, June 5, 2009. You will be guided through several pages of important information about the Performing Arts Community, the Wellness Community, Immunizations, and the application instructions before arriving at the application. It is important that you read this information before completing your application. Begin here to get to the application.
Once you complete the application, DukePass will be updated to reflect that your application is complete. If you wish to change your application, you will need to navigate to the RLHS website outside of DukePass (it won't let you back in once your application is complete). From hre, you may re-enter the application and submit updates. Keep in mind that changes made after June 5, 2009 may not be taken into account in making your assignment.
Housing assignments will be available to students in late June. We appreciate your patience!A Note to Parents:
Congratulations on your son's or daughter's acceptance to Duke University! We welcome you as part of the Duke family. Please use our website to learn more about Duke's residential experience. Below are some topics that may interest you:
- 2009 - 2010 RLHS Calendar
- Immunizations
- Special housing accommodations for medical needs
- Safety on campus
- Roommates
We suggest that your son or daughter complete their housing application without your assistance. We have found the residential and roommate experiences are far more successful when based on each student's individual preferences.
If you have any questions, please contact us at housing@studentaffairs.duke.edu or (919) 684-4304. See you on Tuesday, August 18, 2009!
