Residential Government (House/Quad Councils)
Residents have the opportunity to be participate through membership in House Councils on East Campus, Quad Councils on West Campus, or Central Campus Council in the apartments area. Elections are generally held in late spring and early fall for positions. Residential governments are responsible for planning events such as cook-outs and ice cream socials to build community in their areas. Residential governments are also the primary mechanism through which feedback is given about the on-campus living experience.
Residents can also be elected to positions in Campus Council which serves as the umbrella organization for all residential goverments. East Campus Council is the umbrella organization for the first year residence halls and serves the dual purpose as the Class Officers.
