Move-in and Move-out Information
Students living on Central Campus and West Campus for the summer must move out by noon on Monday, August 10, 2009.
Hold Over Housing
Holdover housing will be available from July 31, 2009 through August 20, 2009.
- Eligibility: You must be a Duke student with a Duke University housing assignment for the 09-10 academic year.
- Accommodations: Students will either be in their current summer assignment, their future fall assignment, or in a temporary location. All temporary location assignments will be to double rooms - no exceptions.
- Rate: You will be charged the daily rate for your assigned room type. This will be prorated depending on how many days you are in a given room size. Daily rates range from $20 to $40. Your Bursar account will reflect your charge.
- Occupancy: Rooms may be occupied beginning at noon on Friday, July 31, 2009. Temporary assignments and summer assignments must be vacated by noon on Friday, August 14, 2009. If keys are not returned by Noon on Friday, August 14, 2009, you will be charged for a lock change. Fall assignments may be occupied beginning Friday, August 14 through Thursday, August 20.
