Keohane Quad

Keohane Quad, named after former Duke president Dr. Nannerl Keohane, encompasses three houses: Keohane 4A, 4B, and 4D. Currently the three buildings are home to over 330 sophomore, junior and senior students.

Keohane Quad has wide hallways and tall ceilings. Each hallway has a “den” area that offers informal social and study space for small groups; in addition, each house has an 800 square foot commons area with an outdoor terrace. Keohane 4D is connected to McClendon tower, which offers an array of dining, socializing and meeting area options.

Selective living groups in Keohane include Languages, Maxwell House, Psi Upsilon (a co-ed fraternity), and Scott House. These selective living groups add to the richness and diversity of the Quad as a whole. In addition, the Keohane Quad Council provides programming, resources, and community building activities for all residents of the Quad. Elections for the Quad Council will take place in early fall.

The Residence Coordinator of Keohane Quad is Matthew Meyer.
