Few Quad

Few Quad is home to approximately 430 sophomore, junior, and seniorstudents on Duke's West Campus. Few is centrally located right near the Chapel and close to the library and the Bryan Center. Few Quad contains two fraternities (Alpha Epsilon Pi and Phi DeltaTheta) and two selective living groups (Prism andRoundTable).

President Few

Few Quad is named after WilliamPreston Few, President of Trinity College from 1910-1924, andPresident of Duke University from 1924- 1940. President Few wasknown to be greatly respected by students and remembered as helpingto increase the endowment and development of Duke University.

We also have a new Faculty-in-Residencein Few Quad. The Faculty-in-Residence Program is one of the ways inwhich Duke University seeks to facilitate, strengthen, and expandinteraction between faculty members and undergraduates beyond theclassroom. The Few Faculty-in-Residence is Hwansoo Kim, Assistant Professor of Religion (Japanese and Korean Buddhism).

Few Quad has a staff of 13 Resident Assistants, oneGraduate Assistant, under the supervision of Residence CoordinatorAyeshaYousafzai.

Few Quad Council will become active again once the school yearbegins. Quad Council plans events and programs for the quad. Anyonewho might be interested in running for a position should look forinformation regarding elections early in the Fall semester or cancontact a Resident Assistant or the Residence Coordinator.
