Robertson Scholars
One of the most unique features of the Robertson Scholars program is the opportunity for the scholarship recipients to live on the other campus during the spring semester of the sophomore year. We are very eager to have you joining us this spring!
UNC Robertson Scholars will be assigned to live in double or triple rooms in one of the six residential quads on Duke's West Campus. The residence halls on West Campus are of traditional style with double-loaded corridors and common area bathrooms. Not all of the residence halls on West Campus are centrally air-conditioned. Our rental rates are reflective of the availability of air-conditioning and the number of occupants in the room. Internet services are included in the rental rate, but phone and cable are not. There is no smoking permitted in any of the residence halls.
In order for us to plan for your arrival we need some information from you. Please take some time to review these materials:
- Robertson Scholar Housing Application
- Upperclass Housing Options and Rates
- West Campus Map
- License to Occupy Residence Hall Space
- Terms of Residence Hall License
- Residence Hall Dining Plan Information
Please complete the Robertson Scholar Housing Application and the Residence Hall Dining Plan. Forms must be submitted no later than October 31, 2009. Your preferences for location, room type and roommate will be given serious consideration, however, please remember that we will be making your assignment within the context of end-of-semester room availability. We may not be able to honor your preferences, but we will do our best!
Please make note on the Housing Application of any special medical conditions that should be taken into consideration when making your housing assignment. You may be asked to provide medical documentation to support your condition. Feel free to contact us should you have any questions about the Duke housing experience. We look forward to having you with us!
