Katie is the Residence Coordinator for Gilbert-Addoms and Southgate Halls in Neighborhood 3 on East Campus.  Prior to arriving at Duke, Katie completed her M.S. in College Student Development and Counseling at Northeastern University.  As an undergraduate, Katie attended Hamilton College where she earned an A.B. in Sociology.  

Katie has been working working with first year students since 2005, both as a Graduate Assistant in Housing & Residential Life at Northeastern University and as a Residence Coordinator here at Duke.  While in graduate school, she also worked in the MIT Careers Office, advising prehealth and prelaw students.  Katie is a premajor advisor for first year students here at Duke and has been spending time this summer assisting with the summer advising for the incoming first year students.  

In her spare time, Katie enjoys playing with her pug puppy, Zoe.  She also enjoys photography and baking, as well as exploring the area--there is so much to see and do in Durham, Raleigh & Chapel Hill!
